Day 1
I guess I don’t mind being home because I can see my family.
Day 2
How do I use zoom?
Also why can’t I remember my class schedule that I’ve been going to for 2 months?
Day 5
I don’t remember much from the hour and a half lecture I just attended via zoom.
Online classes are NOT going to go well…
Day 7
I’m so stressed.
I can’t remember what assignments are due or when.
I feel trapped.
Day 14-ish?
My sanity seems to be depending on walks outside and a 1000 piece puzzle
yikes…
Day (I’m not sure)
Days and days have passed and it seems like my life is on hiatus.
I feel helpless and irrelevant.
I am just existing in an uncertain world.
Today
I find comfort in knowing that with each passing day, we are all one day closer to being able to returning to normalcy and being able to hug.
Lydia Freeby
The structure of your poem was very easy to understand and the genuine thoughts that you write down make me feel like someone else feels the same way I do with what is going on right now. Also, I am curious did you find the picture online or did you take it yourself because it is really high quality and something we do not see every day. ~ Nelson Ngov

Thanks! I took the picture myself with my Canon T5 Rebel in Nova Scotia last summer.

I like the realness of this! I’m sure this how we are all feeling. I related to you feeling “trapped”. Not being able to leave the house is super hard. At the end of the day, we are doing this for the greater good and it will just allow things to go back to normal sooner. I really loved how you formatted this! It reminds me of a journal entry which is really cool!
