Tell me what you’re going through
Tell me what’s on your mind
Everything will be okay
As long as you try
I know it’s tough
Staying home from friends
Just remind yourself
It’ll be okay in the end
We all are scared
I know you’re worried too
We will all be fine
We just have to push through
We are all together
Of course from a distance
We just have to remember
To keep the persistence

I loved this! For some reason the rhyme between “distance” and “persistence” got the best of me. I was immediately drawn to your piece. How could I not be when at a time like this we could use all of the optimism and sunshine we can get! I think this is exactly what a lot of people need to be reminded of, and I appreciate you choosing to write about it. I hope you’re able to stay optimistic yourself. The first lines where you offered comfort to the reader immediately set the tone (as if the title and photo didn’t do it enough already) of hope and unwavering positivity. The sense of togetherness was strong throughout the piece and reigns true to the world as we know it. This was exactly what I needed today. Hope you’re hanging in there!

This was great to read! It felt very reassuring and every line read like something a friend would say to a friend who was having a bad night or just really stressed out about something. I think the repeated use of “We” adds to the sense of wholesomeness and lets the reader get a feeling of “We are all together” before that line even shows up in the piece.

This was such a nice poem to read, not only because the flow of the words and the composition of the poem complimented each other, but because it also just put me in a better mood. You also had a really strong ending line that sticks with people and makes the meaning of your poem so much more impactful.
