My partners name is Jess Anderson. She was born on April 3rd and is 20 years old from Bucks County, Pa. My first impression of Jess was that was very mature for her age, which made sense to me after learning she had to grow up fast at a young age. This taught her to become independent early. She still manages to keep a smile on her face and be friendly to others which I thought was admirable, but would not hesitate to tell you how she feels about something, which is one way we related. I learned that she values friendships and relationships and takes them seriously. While talking she mentioned that “relationships are important but rules aren’t”, which made me laugh. She also mentioned that she “has no regrets” which was interesting because I assumed everyone did. She shared that she has a younger sister who she considers herself to be a role model to which also related to me. She is a very expressive person who loves to paint and draw. She is an Art Major and lives off-campus in her apartment. She currently sells some of her work now and hopes to have it as her only job in the future.
Bianca, who is a nice, fun, and an open type of girl. I learned from being around her, that she is from Scranton, Pennsylvania. It is not to far from Philly, only about a two hour drive. Her major is Health Professions, which is the same as mine. As we were talking, we realized that we both took the same classes, which is required in our major. Bianca’s birthday is on April 30th, and she is a Taurus. She has an Anatomy final on her birthday which kind of sucks, because who wants to take a final on their special day? We have lots of things in common, such as we both ran track. We both have one brother, although she has four sisters, and I have three sisters. Meaning what I said when she is an open person, she expresses whatever bothers her, and does not hold anything back, which is what I like about her. Both of us are very picky when it comes to eating, but she is more pickier because she doesn’t eat chick fil a., which is mainly my favorite place to eat on campus. Her favorite soda is Pepsi, and she loves zebra cakes. Biana lives on campus at Morgan, but in the upcoming years she wants an apartment off campus. From talking with her, we actually built a relationship with one another, and plan to meet up soon.
How does the quote go? “It’s always the quiet ones you have to watch out for?” Even after speaking with Sanae I felt like it would take weeks to fully understand the type of person she is. I liked watching her out of the corner of my eye. She would lean forward to listen and backward to speak. Her words barely left her mouth, her low volume would catch on her teeth. One of the first things she told me was that she was a Gemini. Can you believe it? I guess it only matters if you believe it. When she told me she used to do cheer in high school I swear to you I choked on the air. She seemed so reserved. I couldn’t picture it until I looked again. And I noticed her build and the way her clothing hung. Her clothing. A self professed online shopaholic. Towards the end of our conversation she started making statements like that. How much she loved shopping…no budget. She almost yelled to me “I LOVE ICE!” (That was the loudest her voice had gotten all night) and if you were wondering specifically what kind of ice she liked, it’s the crushed kind.
