This Evergreen tree has been apart of my life since I was a kid. I use to love to bike or skateboard down hills. It was one of my favorite things to do especially since I didn’t have many friends as a kid. I wanted to make sure that it was still there and went back to visit it on my board. I was really happy to see it still standing. When I reached the top of the hill I sat down by the tree and just remembered me going up and down on the hill when I was little. I even decided to ride my board down the hill while sitting on it.

This Evergreen tree was something I immediately thought about when reading this prompt and I’m so glad I got to revisit it. This spot has changed a lot since I was young however. It has been cleared out more, buildings everywhere, roads paved, and gravel to fill any hole. It was sort of sad to see it change like this, but overall I was still happy that my tree was still there. This tree symbolizes happiness and helps me collect my thoughts or deal with frustration. In a time like this I really was glad to be able to visit it once again.
