I found this plant while I went on a walk with my neighbor and his dog in the woods next to our houses. To the left of the photo is a garlic mustard weed I found and to the right is Bentley! It was really good to go outside and have the sun on my skin. Going out for even a few minutes can brighten my day up. It is nice to know something works with helping with how I’m feeling during this time. I am trying to stay as optimistic as possible but being at home brings back memories of old habits and people, I hate it because I’ve moved forward and lived differently throughout my days but being here has put me right back. I plan on taking more walks or even just taking time to sit in the sun. I strongly suggest getting some sun and feeling the breeze sometime makes you feel less trapped.
It’s good to hear that you found something to keep you happy. I always see this type of plant, but never Imagined it would be called a garlic mustard weed. Also Bentley seems like a really cool dog.

Fun! Bentley is a gem I definitely recommend spending as much time as possible with him aw. I’m glad this gave you a reason to get outside, and hopefully you’re able to find more and more reasons as we get further into this big mess. It’s cool to take steps back though. Steps in the right direction are never taken without some steps backwards. Channel your inner Bentley my friend. He seems like a pretty happy pup. I also enjoyed the uncertainty in your title when identifying the plant. I’m sure that is something that we all felt while trying to get done this assignment.

I was also surprised it’s called that. Looks nothing like garlic or mustard. It’s nice to get outside and I’m sure Bentley appreciates it. Today and I think for the remainder of the week , the weather looks ugly but lets hope it gets warmer and nicer.

I think it is really awesome how you mentioned being out in the sun. You cited how good it felt to actually get vitamin D. I feel like I have been staying on top of things “Ok” for the last month or so, with that being said, I have not been getting outside in the sun as I should be. I am becoming so white and pale I do not think I will even be able to step foot on a beach this summer without getting stage four malignant melanoma skin cancer.

First of all love the name of the weed you found. I wonder how they went about naming a weed like that? Anyway, I thought this was really interesting and I appreciate the advice with going outside and all. I think everybody should try to step outside whenever they feel trapped inside.
