Quarantine
Quickly becoming bored with every slow repeating day.
Usually, I am trying to find something new to play.
Animal Crossing seems like an interesting game to try
Reading some books also can help pass time by
Anime is something I like to binge-watch on my free time
Now I buy all my stuff through amazon prime
Today felt really slow and lame.
I feel like nothing will ever be the same
Never getting to visit friends is making me sad
Enjoying time with my family is not that bad

I have been seeing nothing but animal crossing memes all over my social media platforms so I think I might give in and see what its all about. I liked your poem because I can relate to the whole thing. Our days are becoming tedious so I have been watching a lot of tv and reading for assignments too. It is sad not being able to see our friends but like you said spending time with family has made things better. I just ordered things yesterday off of amazon prime so Im glad Im not the only one haha.

The first line just really kicks off the tone of the piece and I can definitely relate. It feels like just an endless loop of doing a few things each day. No spontaneity, just a sense of being trapped in your house. I haven’t played Animal Crossing yet but I too have seen a fair share of memes relating to it on social media so I might have to check it out. Time has never moved by so slow and I really like the line “Today felt really slow and lame.” There’s really nothing more to say about this whole situation, it just sucks. I hope you find some new games to play!

I relate to this entire poem. It’s slowly killing me that we have to be in the house. I am so used to being with my friends, actually doing something with my life. Like you said, now I just go around looking for things to do, games to find. Nothing better to do. I hope this can go away sooner.
