How am I doing? I’m tired, and drained. At first, I thought it would be nice to actually leave college but I regret it. I got so used to being on my own, not needing my mom for anything but that all changed. I actually miss college, and my friends there. I miss getting peace and quiet when I needed it. After my first year in Philly, it is like I never want to come back to Harrisburg anymore. I guess you can say that online classes are going good. Only for English though, because we have the best professor. I can say the only thing that I enjoy working from home is I can sleep in.
I really never realized how important this virus is, but it really is serious now. Can you believe we got put on a 8:00 p.m. curfew? I hope this is over by May, because I don’t know how much longer I can be in the house, and I don’t want to miss my birthday. Everything is shut down, so the only place I have been going is the grocery store with my mom. It is better than being stranded in the house. I think I am more lazy ever since I left. All I do is eat, sleep, and do work, and the process repeats. When I say all I do is eat snacks, I mean it.
Being in the house 24/7 is a nightmare. Having two older sisters, and a niece is not fun at all. I got so used to not arguing with them, and them not eating all my snacks up. But, we went back to it. It is never a dull moment with them, but they get on my nerves. I caught up on so many Netflix movies, and shows. I never knew I could just sit and watch movies back to back, but it is happening. My favorite TV show that I binged watched so far is All American, sadly I watched both seasons within two days. I would have never thought that my freshman year of college would’ve ended a couple days after I got back from Spring break. Let’s just say that I miss Temple, and can’t wait to go back in August. Hopefully. Sanae Marshall

All American is a great show that I unfortunately binge-watched too. I too was somewhat happy to come home and see family but I’ve had the same experience you have so far. I miss my friends and agree that being home all day every day is getting rough. Hopefully that by the time August comes around everything we be back to normal. I would hate to have to spend the first semester of our second year in my bed haha. So far it hasn’t been all that exciting.

I have noticed that in my house as well. Everyone is snacking. It’s weird cause snacks are like the one thing actually on store shelves I’ve noticed.
I have noticed that home feels so much different after spending time at school. You just fall into a routine and then being broken of it unexpectedly by having to move home is just off-putting.
