Dear Mrs. C,

You may not remember me since it has been almost 10 years since the last time I saw you! However, I certainly remember the impact you had on me. I am pretty sure I was one of your first students in the gifted program and you were still learning the ropes but you did such a great job. I am now a sophomore in college and I don’t think I would have gotten this far if I had not been directed by you. You truly inspired me to want to expand my knowledge and to look deeper at things. We used to do certain units in class that would range in topics and they always piqued my interest. My favorite one was Ancient Egypt. To this day, I still have an interest in the ancient world and I always look back on how excited I was to come to class and learn new information. At the time I was really young and I was not able to properly thank you for how amazing of a teacher you were to me, but throughout the past few years I have realized just how much I adored your class.
