Dear Mrs. Webber,

I am so thankful to have had you for my four years of high school. You are still to this day the best and most helpful teacher I have ever had. You believed in me at times when I did not believe in myself. You encouraged me to strive for greatness and to never give up on even the hardest of goals. You gave me advice on situations you were not involved in and helped me get through them without ever looking back. You are not only an educator but also a mentor that many students, including myself,  have looked up to from the first day of having you in class.

I got accepted into Temple University as a Health Professions major. I am in my second semester of classes and my grades are good. It has been difficult but i’m doing my best to “push forward” like you would always tell me. I have taken all of your advice since graduation and still have the picture of us you gave to me as a gift on my desk. I appreciate it all and it has helped me with being away from home and has made me excited to see what the future holds.

I also wanted to say congratulations on the engagement and I wish you and Jim the best. Thank you for the invitation and I cannot wait to see you on your special day.

Until then, Bianca Smith
