Dear Mrs. Warren,

I just want to thank you for the effort you put into our class over the last four years. For us students it has been a roller coaster, but towards the end it all came together.

Many of us came to ********** Technical Career Center because at a young age we knew what we wanted to do. Others knew or suspected that their futures may be difficult, and they wanted something of value to fall back on.

At the beginning of the program, it was clear that things in our lab were not what we expected, and not what they should have been. It was obvious that our instructed had not the slightest care about the school, the subject, or about any of us. We were lacking resources, and missing opportunities that the other trades had.

After you came along, that slowly changes. You were able to secure more resources. You created a newer and more relevant comprehensive and interactive curriculum. By senior year, many us were looking to get certification, and locking down jobs in the trade without any need for higher education.

For me, I chose to go to college. I know though, that if it wasn’t for my experience in your class, and the fallback skills that I gained there, I would not have made that decision.

Again, Thank you,

Paul.
