When I was interviewing these people I made sure to give them a good look. Not in a creepy way but look to see if I could tell their answer would be different or interesting. I didn’t try to find the people who would give me short answers.

My thoughts on mental health was pretty basic, but I don’t think that is a bad thing. I think that you should take care of your mental health just as much as physical health. Mental health controls your way of thinking and if that isn’t in order than the rest of your life spirals out of control.

I found that these people had the same idea about mental health as me. They all thought that it was important and something you needed to keep on top of. However, when I would ask them if they have been keeping on top of theirs, most would answer no or say they haven’t been doing a good job. I found this to be sad because I think that most people are this way.

Some quotes I love from the interviews were, “Well, mental health is being emotionally and what’s the word… stable!” said Zach Lemurs. Another one was, “It becomes an endless cycle because it is constantly repeating itself which is the main reason people spiral out of control.” said Connor McGowan in regards to staying on top of mental health. My last quote from Kyle Kilroy in regards to mental health was another good one, “It is a very undervalued part of existence, and It goes overlooked often.”. These quotes meant so much to me because they really showed me how important people think of mental health, but they also showed me how people’s different experiences change the base understanding of mental health.
