On the first day of class I wasn’t sure how much Nelson and I would have in common. It was a relief when I soon learned how welcoming and nice he was! He was very easy to talk to and it was fun getting to know him. Nelson is from Norristown, PA which is about a train ride away from Temple. He comes from a family which runs its own local businesses, but he didn’t want to follow in their footsteps. He decided to be an IST major because of his love for computers. As an IST major he is always building computers and has an interest in video games which is probably why he ended up creating a server with his friends. When Nelson isn’t spending time working on computers, you can either find him listening to music or binje watching movies and shows. His favorite movie is Baby Driver. I have seen it myself and I can say it is pretty good. Another intersting thing I found out is that he spent a week down the shore with friends for senior week. He mentioned how intense his volleyball games on the beach would get. I thought this was pretty cool because I also spent my senior summer down the shore with my friends as well.
