Avery is a 19-year-old freshman Film major on the surface but is so much more beyond that.  When Avery and I turned to one another to partner up for English class I was pleasantly surprised when some of the things we had in common came to light.  She and I both lost our older brother within the past few years, and it’s always comforting to talk with someone who can understand that.  When we decided on an outing to Yummy Pho for dinner, I was looking forward to getting to know her more.  Avery moved around a lot while growing up and switched schools eight times throughout Elementary to High School.  Maybe that contributed to her open personality allowing her to be an extremely friendly person.  She is so easy to talk to that I felt as if I couldn’t shut up sometimes; the conversation never stopped flowing.  Her parents are both professors which I think prepared her for the college life nicely, because Avery is mature and at the same time very fun and caring.  We had a blast together laughing about silly things and I couldn’t wipe the smile off my face around Avery even if I tried. I am excited for entertaining times to come.
